Translation
Do you have a brochure, website, user manual or annual report that you need to have translated into another language?
We can help you with all kinds of translations. We work according to the mother-tongue principle, which means that all our translators translate exclusively into their mother tongue, or native language. We can also provide certified translations of official documents that are approved for notarisation and apostillisation in Norway.
Proofreading/copyediting
Proofreading and copyediting both involve a careful review of an existing text, but are two different things. Proofreading focuses on spelling and punctuation, and ensures that the language is grammatically correct. Copyediting goes a step further, making sure that the language flows well and is suited to the target group for the text.
Do you have an existing translation or a text that needs quality assurance? Perhaps you use different working languages in your company and need help with a final check to make sure everything is just right? In that case, what you need is copyediting!
DTP/IT
Lingo Access has in-house IT expertise and can handle most file formats, for example InDesign and FrameMaker, as well as source code for software and websites. We also offer DTP services, such as converting PDF files into Word or InDesign and preparing print-ready files.
Lingo Access uses market-leading computer-aided translation (CAT) tools to enable us to offer our customers the best possible price and ensure consistent terminology.

This is why we require our translators to translate exclusively into their native language and to have at least five years’ relevant experience. In addition, we always make sure the translation is proofread and quality-assured in accordance with our internal procedures, which are based on the European Quality Standard for Translation Service Providers, NS-EN 15038.
